Health advice A–ZFor advice and NHS Pharmacy First consultations you can usually walk in. Private services such as ear wax removal, blood tests, weight management and travel vaccinations are by appointment, so please call your local pharmacy to book.
The consultation is free. If the pharmacist supplies a medicine, standard NHS prescription charges apply unless you are entitled to free prescriptions.
In England you may be entitled to free prescriptions if, for example, you are under 16, aged 16 to 18 and in full-time education, aged 60 or over, pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months, have certain medical conditions, or receive certain benefits. Our team can help you check.
You will have a confidential consultation with one of our prescribers, who will review your health and medical history. If treatment is suitable, they can prescribe it and will arrange regular reviews to monitor your progress and safety.
Yes. Our online pharmacy offers free NHS prescription delivery anywhere in the UK, and our local pharmacies offer a prescription delivery service.
